AN-IMS 1 is an 4 day intensive course created for health care practitioners who have not taken any IMS/Dry needling courses previously, are new to this application of dry needling, or have taken previous unrecognized needling programs and need to achieve needle rostering in their province. This includes those who have previous acupuncture training. AN-IMS 1 trains participants to utilize the neuropathic clinical reasoning framework in the safe and effective application of dry needling as a treatment modality and will allow the practitioner to treat clients immediately. Throughout the course participants will learn to treat the whole body comprehensively.
ANIMS-1 is the equivalent of parts 1 and 2 of other dry needling programs and is approved by CPTBC for needle rostering in British Columbia. It also allows you to gain the skills to apply for needle rostering in your province. The entire body is covered in this comprehensive at home/pre-study material and in person course.
